"Our cat, Harriet, has been seeing Dr. Patty for about a year and a half now for unexplained seizures. She was having multiple seizures per week. Acupuncture treatment along with a change in her diet immediately brought the number down to just 3 or 4 per month. Initially we saw Dr. Patty every two weeks then once a month as her episodes lessened. Now she is on a maintenance schedule of once every six weeks or so and Harrie has not had an episode for over three months. We could probably go longer between treatments now but Harrie enjoys Dr. Patty and being the center of attention so much that we will probably continue indefinitely. We tried several different veterinarians who all practice "western medicine" and they all suggested that we would eventually be using Phenobarbitol on a daily basis to lessen the number and severity of Harrie's seizures. We will be forever grateful to Dr. Patty for sharing her knowledge and the alternative of acupuncture. We have greatly reduced Harrie's seizures and she has retained her sweet, playful nature." |
