Chiropractic (VSMT) Care

When an animal chiropractor examines a patient, they are looking for joints with a reduced range of motion.

During the exam the doctor will feel, or palpate, your horses’ joints.  When a restricted joint is found, it is corrected by an adjustment.
About chiropractic

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient treatment method, originally used in China, as part of a complete health care system known as Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Because TCM is a whole health care system it can be used to treat nearly any disease or illness.

Questions & Answers

What are those amazing dog treats?

Most of our canine friends are crazy for the duck treats Dr. Patty carries around.  They are Orijen’s Free Run Duck treats and can be found at most major retailers.  We also have freeze dried beef liver treats on hand.

What should I bring to an appointment?

A list of medications, herbs and supplements your horse is currently taking.  We also want to be able to see how your saddle fits your horse.  Please bring your saddle and all the saddle pads that you use for your rides.  Please also have a lunge line on hand in case we need to see your horse move out.
If you are hauling in to a facility to see us you will also need a current coggins test.

What were those CBD brands you recommended?

Both Canna Companion and Bluebird Botanicals have been independently tested and shown to carry high levels of quality CBD molecules.  In the making of CBD products, it has been shown that there is a significant variability in both quality of product made and content (as in how much CBD is actually in the bottle).
