Meet Dr. Jessie

Dr. Jessie Bridges grew up in southern Indiana surrounded by, not only corn fields, but a multitude of horse farms, beef cattle operations, and small family farms of all varieties.  She attended Purdue University for undergraduate study where she gained invaluable insight into animal agriculture and the caring people who devote their lives to its pursuit.  Her passion for optimizing animal health and welfare led her to continue her education and pursue a DVM at Perdue’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Jessie graduated in 2014 and joined a mixed animal practice in New York state.  The large Mennonite and Amish community in the area first introduced Dr. Jessie for the need for integrative medicine.  The cart horses, hunting dogs, and other working animals of these communities required acupuncture and chiropractic, in addition to all their regular veterinary care, to perform their duties pain free for many years.
Three years ago, Dr. Jessie and her family moved to the Green Bay area to be closer to family and friends.  She joined a local practice and realized that she wanted to provide her patients with more treatment options.  This led to her to continue her training for veterinary chiropractic in the Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy Program at the Healing Oasis Wellness Center.

Dr. Jessie’s lifelong love of horses has evolved from riding American Saddlebreds, to hunter/jumpers, to dressage.  She spends any free time riding, finding new and challenging forms of exercise, and hanging out with her husband and two daughters.
